Day 14: The Right Kind Of Exercise For You

DAY 14: from Slacker to Fierce

” He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” — Isaiah 40:29

If you want to attain and maintain a healthy lifestyle, it’s important to engage in a consistent exercise program. Implementing a plan of regular, sensible exercise is one way of ensuring that you’ve done your part to care for the body that God has given you. So what’s the right kind of exercise for you? That’s a question for you and your doctor. But whether you’re running marathons or walking around the block, it’s important to stay as active as you can, as long as you can. No one can force you to exercise; you’ll need to make that decision on your own. And if you genuinely desire to please God, it’s a decision that you will make today.

In the space below ( your journal), write down a few of the benefits that you will enjoy if you exercise regularly.

**NOTE** The above excerpt was taken from the book: 365-Day Journal Food, Fitness and Faith for Women.
