Day 29: Beyond Those Temporary Setbacks

Day 29: from slacker to fierce

“Then the spirit came upon Amasai, [who was] chief of the captains, [and he said], Thine [are we], David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace [be] unto thee, and peace [be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.” — 1 Chronicles 12:18 (KJV)

If you’re on a new health regimen, you may relapse back into your old, unhealthy habits. If so, don’t waste time or energy beating yourself up. If you’ve “fallen of the wagon,” simply pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back on it. God was with you when you were riding that wagon the first time, He was with you when you fell, and He’ll welcome you back on the wagon wehn you’re wise enough to climb back on.

In the space below (your journal), jot down healthy ways you can reward yourself for doing a good job and not falling off the wagon.

Thank you for stopping by and for reading. I hope that you find something helpful during this visit 🙂
