Day 69: Reflections

Yesterday was another great day for me. I actually spent time doing something for me. I have working on perfecting my sewing skills over the past few weeks. It was nice to have a couple of hours to focus on my hobby since my husband was home. I worked on a pretty skirt that I am hope to fit into by my birthday. I also made time for my oldest daughter after picking her up from school. I really enjoy spending one-on-one time with each of my babies because I want them to know that they are important in my life. My princess and I went for a ride while we talk and sometimes sing along to the radio before stopping at a store for some things we needed at home. I made a grilled chicken (organic), broccoli, yellow rice and steamed spinach, which everyone loved. After dinner we all went for a family ride which led us to Coldstone Creamery for dessert and I of course cheated a little by getting ice cream but it was definitely worth it. I made up for the ice cream today by running 3.79 miles before dinner. I am happy to say that I may finally be in my zone towards a healthier me. So far I have lost 15 pounds since I started on December 26th, 2011. I have some more work to do but the numbers I’m saying are motivating me to keep going. I hope that you are sticking with your healthy lifestyle goal. Yes, some days are much harder than others but with God on your side you cannot fail.

Thank you for stopping by and for reading. I hope that you find something helpful and meaningful during this visit 🙂

your feedback is appreciated!!!
