Day 88: Protecting Your Emotional Health

Day 88: from slacker to fierce

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you…”– Ezekiel 36:26 (NIV)

Emotional health isn’t simply the absence of sadness; it’s also the ability to enjoy life and the wisdom to celebrate God;s gifts. Christians have every reason to be optimistic about life. But sometimes, when we are tired or frustrated, rejoicing seems only a distant promise. Thankfully, God stands ready to restore us: our task, of course, is to let Him.

When negative emotions threaten to hijack your day, you should lift your thoughts– and your prayers– to God. In the space below (in your journal), write down a few of your ideas about the power of prayer.

I thank you for stopping by and for reading. I hope that you find something meaningful and helpful during this visit 🙂

your feedback is appreciated!!!
