Growing Up

I am sometimes a little too dramatic for my own good. This is something I was told years ago and it is something I have finally accepted about myself. I recently had a deep and heartfelt conversation with a friend and it helped me to understand and realize that I have not moved on from some very painful things in my past. As I get older those painful memories had somehow manifested themselves into something else. I am sharing this because as people we sometimes work very hard to mask the pain to protect those around us and to protect ourselves from feeling anything when in reality we are creating more pain when we don’t acknowledge that we all feel pain and that we all have different ways of dealing with life’s challenges. Well, that is my “words of wisdom” for tonight. I might come back tomorrow and write something but then again I am a single mom of three children who at times can be a workaholic at home and at work, so we shall see if I have the energy to get on here tomorrow and post something.

Thank you for stopping by and for reading. I hope that you find something worthwhile and helpful during this visit 🙂

your feedback is appreciated!!!
