Stop pushing your children, let them enjoy their childhood

Scheduled activities rob kids of opportunities to make their own fun without parental interference, says Jeff Pearlman.

I read this article and reminds me of conversations I have had with friends and other mothers. I have criticized so many times for not enrolling my children in every activity they are eligible for. I ask my children if they are interested in learning new things and only enroll them if they express interest. Children should not be forced to have adult like schedules. My children are doing academically an d socially because I make time for them and I never force them to do activities they are not interested. I even let them pick the books and activities we do at home. They have a voice in how they do things as well as the things they do. Any who, I’m done with this mini rant. I thank you for stopping by and for reading. I hope that you find something meaningful and helpful during this visit 🙂
