Spec. John J. Edmunds

Specialist John J. Edmunds was a 20-year-old young man from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Edmunds as assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia. He was killed when the UH-60 Black Hawk he was in crashed during a training mission on October 19, 2001 in Pakistan. Specialist Edmunds was an honor graduate when he graduated from high school in 1999. He is survived by his parents Donn and Mary Edmunds, his brother Seth and Anne, his bride of less than a year. Specialist Edmunds always wanted to serve his country just like his father, who served during the Vietnam war. He will never be forgotten, to me he and all those that have died to defend our nation are my heroes. Thank you Specialist John J. Edmunds!!!
