Private First Class Kristofor Tif Stonesifer was a 28-year-old army ranger who enlisted in the army in 2000 after being part the ROTC program at the University of Montana. PFC Stonesifer was originally from Pennsylvania and joined the army while he was attending college in Missoula, MO.  He was assigned to Company B, 3rd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Benning, Georgia.  He joined the army because he wanted to be the best soldier he could be. PFC. Stonesifer was killed on October 19, 2001 when the UH-60 Black Hawk he was in crashed during a training mission in Pakistan. He is survived by his parents, brother and sister-in-law.  I thank you for your service and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. You will never be forgotten for making the ultimate sacrifice.
