In Memoriam: Sergeant First Class Daniel Henry Petithory


Sgt. 1st Class Daniel Henry Petithory 

Sergeant First Class Daniel Henry Petithory was originally from Cheshire, Massachusetts. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 5th  Special Force Group at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Sgt. Petithory died on December 5th, 2001 when a B-52 dropped a “smart bomb” landed close to his position North of Kandahar, Afghanistan. Sgt, Petithory was 32 years old and he is survived by his father and mother, Louis and Barbara Petithory and two siblings, Nicole and Michael. Sgt. Petithory is remembered as being a prankster by his friends and family and that he died doing a job he loved. Thank you Sgt. 1st Class Daniel Henry Petithory for all you did and for making the ultimate sacrifice for a country you loved so much.
