In Memoriam: Sergeant Nathan P. Hays

Sergeant Nathan P. Hays

Sergeant Nathan P. Hays was originally from Wilbur, Washington and was assigned to the  Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 (VMGR-352), Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, CA . Sergeant Hays died on January 9th, 2002 when the  KC-130 Hercules air tanker grazed a peak, caught fire and crashed into a mountainside in southwest Pakistan.  At the time of his death, Sergeant Hays was 21-years-old. He is survived by his parents James and Kim Hays, an older brother  and younger sister. I was not able to located Sergeant Hays’ siblings names but based on what I read about him I am confident that are proud of the person he was. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I know it is not easy to lose a loved one and I pray that they are coping well without him. Thank you Sergeant Nathan P. Hays for making the ultimate sacrifice.
