Staff Sergeant Dwight J. Morgan was originally from Mendocino, California and was assigned to the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361 (HMH-361) of Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, CA. Sergeant Morgan was  24 years old when he was passed away. He died on January 19th, 2002 when the CH-53E helicopter crashed in a remote mountainous area south of Bagram, Afghanistan. Sergeant Morgan is survived by his wife Teresa and their two children. I was not able to find more information on other family members but I just want to thank them for sharing Staff Sergeant Morgan with our nation and that my thoughts and prayers are with them and all families who have lost a loved one during these wars were involved in.
